Liberty is a vampire living on a space station on the edge of civilization, a place where only those avoiding attention from the government tend to land. Libs spends his days working for the gangster who runs the place. He is somewhat content with his lot in life.<br><br>Riordan Dalheart is a Ranger working as a government enforcer, and he's been sent to the furthest reaches of the galaxy on a secret mission. Liberty is immediately suspicious of his motives. Rangers Over Regulus

Heads swivelled in her direction. She waited a moment for everyone to quiet down before she began.


“I’m here because of a recent conflict that has arisen in the Core,” she said, scanning the crowd for faces of both friend and foe. A murmuring began. “No doubt some of you have heard already that a Ranger of Legacy has arrived on Leonis Alpha, and that it’s his intention to bring law and order back to our area of space.”


The murmuring heightened, and she quickly picked out those nodding along with her words as well as a small group of people shifting nervously in the back corner.


“You may have also heard that Jane is in opposition to this plan, and that she and her crew are trying to put an end to it once and for all.” She stood taller, squaring her shoulders. “I don’t know about you, but I’m mighty tired of having Jane dictate everything that goes on in this place.”


The group in the back was definitely anxious now, looking between themselves for a solution to end her speech.
