He headed back to his quarters and grabbed his go bag. Dryath had always travelled light, so he didn’t have any trouble living out of one bag for however long he’d have to be gone. He registered his destination with the vehicle fleet and signed for a ship, and he took off with no more fanfare than that.

He saved any excitement or anticipation for the flight. It meant something for Ardin to trust him with something big like sending him to Kindara alone, where this Genthry guy was still holed up. Other marshals, with partners, had been sent to places Genthry might go, if he got away. Dryath had been sent alone to the place Genthry was. Ardin clearly trusted him.
