Chapter 14

“Take them to the guest room next to Casey’s room,” Allyson told him.

Lance smiled. He was pretty sure Allyson was it for Casey and it looked like she already knew how to be in charge at the house. They were a good fit and he wondered when they’d finally tie the knot.

“What about your things?” Casey asked, looking directly at Lance.

“Well, since I’m just renting that small studio over the law office, I don’t have a lot of furniture to move.”

Wade’s brow furrowed and he leaned forward, bracing his hands on the coffee table. “We need to talk.” His whispered words came out harshly and everyone looked at him.

Lance shrugged, wondering what was going on in Wade’s head now. “Sure.”

“Kitchen?”

Lance stood and gestured for him to lead the way.

As soon as they were alone, Wade turned and stepped into Lance’s space. “You didn’t say anything about moving in.”
