He could still keep that promise, though.

He had Gage’s number only because Gage had handed it out to several people that night at the Red Fin. Gage had scribbled it out on napkins for most people, but Christopher didn’t want a scrap of paper he’d lose. He’d handed his phone over and asked Gage to program it in. Their fingers had brushed when Gage passed the phone back, and for a moment, Christopher remembered holding that hand as they walked back to Gage’s apartment.

His erection hadn’t gone away until he’d watched Gage walk away with Bodie. Then, he’d been too focused on the fear of Bodie doing something to hurt Gage. Christopher had kept Gage’s inexperience to himself. Gage needed to stand on his own. Besides, Bodie might have gone after him even harder if he found out Gage was a virgin.

Was he still a virgin?

Shaking his head, Christopher scrolled through his contacts until he found Gage’s name. It wasn’t any of his business what had happened between them.
