Chapter 31

He pointedly turned back to Hyde. “Is he any good in bed? He looks like he might be fun to train, but he’s so young; shouldn’t you worry about your heart? Is he supposed to make you feel like I—like you did when you were twenty?”

“Do you really want to get into a pissing contest with me, Ron? Remember, I know…” Hyde leaned forward and whispered something, and Mr. Richardson got so red in the face I thought the top of his head might explode. Hyde didn’t seem perturbed, but his grasp on my hand remained tight. “Kipp’s age is none of your business, and neither is what we do in bed. “And besides, why should you care who I’m with after…?” He let the rest of his sentence hang in the air, unfinished.

“He’s too young for you.” Mr. Richardson gazed at Hyde. His eyes had become hot and hungry, and my stomach clenched. He wanted Hyde. “You need someone more mature.”
