“Well, they will stay for the wedding.”

“Is it really necessary? I mean, we’re married now.”

“Yes, Hyde. I’ll give you whatever you desire.” Whatever was in my power to give him, including more relatives, if that was what he wanted.

I leaned against him and rubbed my cheek against his shoulder.
