“Dude, are you, like, asking me out?”
Sean grinned, and Arliss wondered if the guy was even aware how sexy he was. He remembered him saying how he didn’t think he could attract a hottie like Arliss and wondered where thatcame from. There was nothing hotter, to Arliss anyway, than a handsome guy who was not aware of the fact.
Sean grabbed his face. “Yeah, I’m ‘like’ asking you out. Do I stand a chance?”
Arliss grinned. If you only knew…“I’d love to. When?”
“When are you off again?”
“I dance tomorrow night, but Sunday I’m off.”
“Can you do Sunday, then?”
“Yeah, I think I can do Sunday.” Arliss scratched his head, wondering how this would go. He couldn’t remember the last time he’d been on a proper date. Had he ever? Was he stepping into a foreign country where he didn’t know the language? Would he make a fool of himself?
“Okay. How about we meet at Ann Sather on Sunday? Say, six o’clock?”
