Private detective Ronan Bayne is a former cop who now runs his own agency specializing in all things paranormal. After several women have gone missing, Ronan gets called in by the police chief.<br><br> Dustin McPherson is a psychic who’s worked with the police in the past. After having a vision of one of the missing women, he meets Ronan. Together, they must solve a case more complicated than either of them expected.

Ronan feels his face flush as he imagines what kinds of talents Dustin may have.


“Never think that I don’t want to know. I’m just not sure if it’s sensible to obtain that knowledge,” Ronan says honestly. It’s taking all of his control not to kiss Dustin.


“Why is it so important to be sensible all the time? Wait, don’t answer that, I know. It was the way you were raised, then police training, being sensible and following the rules has worked for you. But that doesn’t mean you always have to be sensible—let go for once in your life,” Dustin urges.


“I don’t know if I’m brave enough to go from following every rule to taking what I want. I’ve known you a week. We’re working on a case together,” Ronan says.
