“Dany?” Karden’s voice sounded through the cell. “Thank God. Are you okay?”


“I’m good. Sam and Nick are here,” he said. “Kar, how did you know…”


“Big ship in a storm. Maps on a wall. Roger rabbit. No orange feathers. Sound familiar?” asked Karden.


Daniel stammered in response. “I don’t…wha…how were you in my dream?”


“Beats me. I just woke up and tried to get hold of you,” he said, before adding off to the side. “No, turn toward the private hangars, Sury.”


“Where are you? Are you at the airport?” Daniel asked again, struggling to focus past the idea that he had somehow connected to Kar in his dreamscape.


“We’re on our way to RO47. Just hang tight,” he said, before adding, “Dany?”


“I think you are pretty gorgeous, sexy, and fascinating, too.”
