Chapter 27

“I’ll call as soon as I hear from Jeff,” Leo promised. “We’re going to figure this out, okay? Just hold on for another couple of days.”

Gordy nodded. “I will.” He lifted up on his tiptoes and kissed Leo’s chin. “Thanks.”

Leo was all the way down the hall and in the elevator before his chin stopped tingling.

“What the fuck is wrong with you?” Leo slammed the door to the truck, then turned in the seat to stare at Jeff. “First you’re playing twenty questions like you have some kind of right to ask anything at all, and then you go running out of the damn apartment as if he’d tried to sign you up for a timeshare.”

Jeff spun in the seat so fast, his ass could have been on wheels. He wasn’t surprised, though. He was angry. “That kid is notgay.”
