Brenton is a famous rock start. He’s also bisexual and closeted, despite the band’s very open nature. When Zeke comes to work for them, Brenton can’t help but be tempted by him. “I’m going first. You boys sit down and bond,” Penny orders as she sits down in the makeup chair.


“You’ll get used to how bossy she is,” Brenton says, taking a seat on the couch. Zeke hesitates, till Brenton gestures for him to sit down.


“I’m not bossy,” Penny declares loudly.


“She is,” Brenton says quietly, just so Zeke can hear, and Zeke offers a hint of a smile, but it makes him look boyish and cute.


Brenton makes a vow to be nice to Zeke. He’s part of Jamie’s new family. He’s going to be around a lot. The fact that Brenton is attracted to him isn’t at all important. He’s attracted to a lot of people, but he doesn’t come on to every person he desires, especially if that person is male, or male presenting.
