But Seth had certainly planned to. He was more experienced than Brandon. He wouldn’t have taken the necklace if he didn’t think he could get rid of it.

“I’m curious. How were you going to get rid of the diamonds?” She glanced at Brandon, the corner of her mouth lifting. “You obviously weren’t planning on them being a gift for your boyfriend. It’s not really Brandon’s style, now is it?”

“I don’t know.” The corner of Seth’s mouth lifted. “I think my boyfriend would have looked great with a strand of diamonds. In fact, I was just about to find that out when you knocked.”

From the flush in Brandon’s cheeks, it was either completely true, or so far away from the truth to embarrass him. The picture of Brandon naked except for the single strand made Caryn smile, too.

“Not that I’m not enjoying the imagery, but you didn’t actually answer my question…Seth, is it?”

“I know a guy. Been working with him for the past decade. He works fast and quiet, and no, I won’t be handing over his name.”
