“Cecil?”
Cecil looked up at Bjorn and his breath caught. Shit, he was handsome. He doubted it would’ve mattered what he’d looked like, because in Cecil’s mind Bjorn was the most beautiful bear to ever walk on this earth, but now that he had new glasses, he could see that he really was handsome. “Hi.” It wasn’t more than a whisper.
“Oh, you know each other.” The woman sounded relieved. “That’s good. That’s so good. I’ll just…”
Cecil sensed her walking away, but he couldn’t tear his eyes away from Bjorn.
“You came.” Bjorn ran a hand over short dark hair. The dark circles under his eyes were enough for Cecil to hide a wince.
“I did.”
“Do you…erm…” Bjorn reached over the counter taking his hand. The sizzle of the touch shot through him, making his breath catch. “…want some coffee?”
“Lattes are my specialty.” He grinned. “But I’m here about the job.”
“Oh…” Bjorn dropped his hand. “Well, of course. How stupid of me—”
