Chapter 25

“I’ve been going through some…stuff…and I took it out on your brother, and I said some things about you, and I’m not proud of it…and I’ve been thinking about that a lot, so I wanted to say sorry.”

Charlie swallowed and nodded hesitantly.

“It’s…okay…I’m sure it was nothing.”

Before today, they had shared few moments together. “It’s not okay,” Danielson said. “I’ve been acting out at everyone. I’m sorry that I said what I said. I’m sorry I acted like I did.”

Charlie smiled weakly.

“If it helps, no one has told me what you said.”

Danielson laughed.
