Chapter 19

Just because the photographer was laid back, and his lady counterpart was easygoing, didn’t mean the work was easy. They had a whole ad campaign to shoot in only four days. While the poses were meant to look casual or candid, like action shots, they took a lot of work and needed to be carefully set up and staged. The production budget allotted for ten hours of work, but thanks to an ill-timed seagull and one equipment failure they had to stretch it to twelve.

Evan was exhausted to the bone by the time he got back to his hotel. He called Nick, and he called Luke, but he didn’t have the energy to do more than chat for a few minutes. He ordered room service and then opened up his laptop.

Modeling might be what brought in the money now, but he could still work in history when he had wrinkles and gray hair.
