Chapter 49

“Dion!” Galen shouted while running toward Dion who coughed and panted harshly as he did his best to catch his breath.

“G-Galen,” Dion said.

Or at least he tried to. He sounded really hoarse and raspy. His throat hurt, and he was rather nauseous now. He did his best to get up on his feet, but he swayed left and right because he was too weak to stand properly. Fortunately, Galen grasped his arms to steady him.

“Are you okay?”

Dion nodded slowly. He had a pounding headache now, and he really wanted to vomit.

“I think so,” Dion replied softly.

“Good. Stay here. Don’t move.”
