Chapter 42

“This is good, Nick. Really good. I think we’ve got some solid songs for our next album.”

I let out a sigh of relief. “I’m glad I didn’t hurt your feelings.”

“Oh, I mean, I totally feel what you’re saying. It’s…interesting to be called out in lyric form.”

“We don’t have to do anything with them. They could just be for us or something.”

He shook his head. “No. I think they’ll make good songs as soon as we put music to them.”

“Are you still thinking you might have Levi sing the lead on yours?”

He gave a wry smile. “Jealous?”

I rolled my eyes. “I mean, yes? But I also think it would be nice to give Levi a chance to do lead vocals. I don’t want to be a diva after all.”

He held up his hands. “We’ll figure it out, dude.”

“Yeah.”

He sighed. “Well, we should put these to tunes. Yours is badass. Let’s Fleetwood Mac this shit.”18: Werewolf’s Debut
