“Harun! Sit back down.” Kelwyn tugged on his hand.
Harun gave him a look, then shook his head and sat. “Damned sadist,” he muttered.
Kelwyn giggled and leaned in close to whisper, “You’re one to talk,” which made Harun blush brightly.
Eldin only smiled again. “I believe I’ve proved Harun’s point, in any case. You are not evil, young vampire. You are merely what you are. Something in the nature of vampires is opposed to something in the nature of gods. Good and evil have nothing to do with it.” He circled back around the fire, and Kelwyn leaned back against Harun’s side.
