“Really?” said Kelwyn. “You can just…snap your fingers, make it so we can have kids?”


“More or less, yes. Harun’s entire body is accustomed to changing drastically. It is simplicity itself to merely ‘teach’ it another form, this time female.”


Kelwyn blinked owlishly, and Harun had to laugh at his expression. Kelwyn obviously hadn’t thought through exactly how a mage might make it possible for a man to bear a child. “Wait, you’re going to turn him into a woman?”


“Oh.” Kelwyn looked downright crestfallen. “I ain’t exactly…into women, though.”


Harun laughed at the forlorn tone in his voice. “That wouldrather be a problem, if you couldn’t perform the activities necessary to get a child. But I know that partial shifts are possible. I have in the past managed to be partially lion, and partially man. If I could be partially man and partially woman? Perhaps inwardly having a woman’s parts and still outwardly being a man?”
