“That stuff before about hooking up with strangers,” he continued. “I don’t really know much about that.”
Dominic helped him lie back from the edge of the bed.
“I was with one guy most of my life, middle school through college, most of the way through college, anyway.” Finn released a loud breath.” You’re quite charismatic, Russel, but not at all my type.”
I turned, as much as I could, to try to decipher the meaning behind Finn’s noisy exhale. Was it to settle back in bed or to express frustration? His face might clue me in, if I could see it. “No.” When that wasn’t possible, I looked toward the mirror over the sink way across the room to see if I could find mine. “Never thought otherwise, Finn.” Fortunately, the collar made that impossible, too.
“No shock there,” Finn muttered loudly enough to be heard. “We may as well be blunt, because, one good look at you up close and I’m already aware I’m not yours, either.”
