“You’re right. You need the new car first. You can’t drive around a baby in an open Jeep. So after we feed Bella her lunch, we go car shopping.”
“I’ll call Bobby as soon as we get home.”

Carlo and Jack left Mama’s at seven and called Bobby from the car. “We need to know what kind of car to buy for Jack that will be safe for the baby,” Carlo said on the speaker phone.
“Already done…I soon as I heard about Bella, I knew Jack would need a new car. The time to retire the Jeep is here. No more sexy beach bum look for you.” Carlo cracked up.
“Okay, Bobby, if you did the research, what car do you recommend?” Jack asked.
“The same car I have, the Subaru Outback. You have cargo room. The seats go down to carry large loads. Carlo’s Lexus is a good car, and safe, but you’re going to need a workhorse too. You’ll have to carry the stroller and the playpen to the park so we can play soccer. To say nothing of bringing home cases of diapers, baby food and wipes.”
