“I meant no offense, Mr. Del Monte. I was only trying to reassure myself that the baby was being placed in a good situation. This will be the first gay marriage service that I will perform. I don’t want it to end badly.”


“Why did you chose St. Andrew’s by the Sea?” the Reverend asked.


“We were both raised Roman Catholic and the Episcopal Church is as close as we can come to the way we were raised except the church doesn’t discriminate against gay couples.”
