“I’m sorry, I can’t tell you. I’m straddling the line of physician’s ethics as it is without telling all of you what Bull said under Doctor/Patient confidentiality.”

“It will all be over by the end of next week after the preliminary hearing. Ahmed will either cop a plea or go to trial. In either case he’ll be in jail and you can go home. We’ll just install additional security.” Jim hugged Jamie.

“Don’t you worry, hon, we’re all in your corner.” Jim took a bite out of his muffin and sat down.

“He didn’t make me do it. I consented. It’s my fault.” Jamie put his teacup down on the table.

“It was dubious consent at best. I told you it wasn’t a good idea to go ahead without a written contract,” Jim said as he served Jamie another cup of tea.
