“No.” He didn’t even think about the answer. “Because I first started thinking about it at dinner. When the thought of leaving you behind started scaring the shit out of me.”

Aaron smiled wanly. “Well, the thought of moving scares the shit out of me. But not as much as being stuck here for the rest of my life.”

With his blood pounding, Xander rested his forehead on Aaron’s and closed his eyes. “I think we could have something really amazing,” he confessed. “And I don’t want to lose what we’ve started because we’re in different states.”

“I know.” Light fingers moved through Xander’s hair. “When you left the first time…well, I don’t think I can watch you leave again. Not now. I’ll go back to New York with you.”
