“Of course she does,” Bonnie snapped. “Surely you boys don’t believe all those silly Watcher lies about the evils of cell phones and the Internet? You sound like damn New Puritans, praying for the blessing of giving all questions to God, trusting the Almighty will answer when he feels like it. Damn ignorant idiots,” Bonnie grumbled, shaking her head. “Kathy, make your tea and go to bed. Get some rest before you fall down. He’ll be here soon.”

“I know, you’re right, but I’m still trying to figure out what’s going on with the Watchers. They’re not supposed to come out of the shadows and meddle like this. But if this is the prophecy—”

Bonnie cut her off. “Kathy. Go To. BedCome on, boys. I’ll be back in a minute.”
