“It’s pretty easy to summon a ghost on Halloween.” Andi seemed as cheeky as CJ’s cheekiest smile. “All you have to do is invite him.”

“Like, how?”

“I studied ghosts and paranormal things a lot in my former life. I kind of had a feeling James was something special.”

“Aww. He is. In more ways than one.”

“Right that. I was going to tell him on Halloween.” Now, my angel seemed sad.

“Well, maybe you can tell him that.” I finally put on my undershirt. “And, like you said, it is Halloween. Okay.” I tucked it in, but then remembered how stupid that looked and undid it. I sure as heck didn’t want to look stupid when reunited with Shawn. Not that he could see me.

“Otto?”

“Sorry, Andi. Yes. Who ya gonna call? Ghost…? No. Bad song. We don’t want a buster. We want a ghost. How do I call a ghost?” I paced. “Everything seems to be a rhyme around here, so…Let’s see.”
