“I don’t think it will,” Khnurn said, squeezing Ian’s hand. “I seem to always find the thing I love most.”

Mine looked at Seamus, and said, “I wish for such a life.”

“We’re here now,” Seamus reminded him. “I’m still working on something else.”

Mine stared at him. “If ever there were someone to make such a thing happen, it would be you, Seamus O’Donnell. You are a powerful witch.”

“Thank you, Mine. So, here’s this weird idea I had,” Seamus explained. “What if when you didn’t take me, they sent someone else?”

Mine looked perplexed. “I don’t know. You are the first person I have not taken. Although I did help that ancestor of yours, but I took many that day in battle.”

“Okay, so let’s say that when Ian was out there broadcasting his vibes in front of a pyramid, that they thought it was me,” Seamus said.
