“Oh!”

With a sigh, Bryson dropped his hands and looked over his shoulder. He really needed to keep these moments behind closed doors if he was going to hope to go anywhere with them. “Rebecca. Hi.”

She stared at them with wide eyes. “I am sosorry to interrupt your lunch break, Duke.”

It was a baited comment if Bryson had ever heard one. Most people didn’t wait to take lunch until after two. Duke didn’t rise to it, though. He simply responded with, “I’m not on break. Can I help with you something?”

She looked at Bryson, then back at Duke. “Are you finished with your…uh…customer consultation?”

Duke shrugged. “What do you need?”
