Chapter 30

“Mr. Fong.”

“What now?” Eric inquired of his employee while doing his best not to snap from the stress and exhaustion that were overwhelming him.

He was about to take a breather behind the cashier counter, and he hoped there was no emergency that he had to handle at that very second. He glanced outside when the server pointed at something near to the entrance. Then he groaned under his breath. There was a group of celebrities standing there. Now, he understood why his restaurant had so many customers out of the blue. He wasn’t complaining about it, but it was highly unusual. In general, business at his restaurant would be rather slow on Tuesday and Wednesday, but it would pick up on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

“All of the tables are occupied,” Eric’s employee pointed out, and Eric had to suppress his frustration.
