Victor sighed and left the cod and the flatfish and the others he didn’t know the names of. “What?”


There was a small ray the size of a china plate swimming around and around. “No.” Victor shook his head. “Look at the little thing, it’s trying to get out, it does not want to get petted.”


Jian pulled his sleeves up and dipped his arm in. “This then?” He held a little crab that quickly ran off his hand and fell into the water again.


Victor snorted. “I don’t think he was keen on it either.”


Jian grimaced. “Probably not, no.” He pumped a few times on a hand sanitizer dispenser, rubbed his hands, and walked over to Victor. “You want some coffee?”


“I think you have to go out of the exhibit, but there is a cafe.”
