Kent said nothing. Charlie, sounding completely unnerved, was whispering into the phone, “Hello? Hello?…Rob? Are you still there? Rob? Oh, shit!” They heard Charlie call out in a louder voice, “Sarah…Sarah, honey! I’ve decided we should go out for dinner.”
A woman’s voice could be heard in the background. “Dinner? Now? We just had lunch!”
Then Charlie shouted, “Yes, now, damn it! I’m hung…”
The phone went dead.
Kent hung up. “That should do it. I hope he pisses himself!”
Jesse let out a whoop. Jordan chuckled.
Kent smirked. “Old letch’s scared shitless, but he still wanted to rearrange things so he wouldn’t miss out on getting his prize.”
“I can just see him running around in circles, trying to figure out what to do,” Jordan said.
“How did you know which gay site to say the prize was from?” Spenser asked.
