“Liam gave me the key in case something happened.”
“You want some tea?” Jasper asked, ignoring the previous remark. There was no politeness behind his words. William had kept an eye on him for the past week and always engaged in small talk that hid the fact that both of them felt awkward around each other. Their pattern was kept undisturbed.
