Liam knew he shouldn’t have refused. Refusing was, in other words, disturbing the natural course of events. He shouldn’t have thought about himself. It was selfish of him.
As he returned to the hotel room, he was exhausted but also in a really good mood. There was tension in his arms that indicated he’d worked hard today. It was satisfying. He felt better mentally too, after his conversation with Milo and after prioritizing himself and not going to the party. Who knew? Always silently despising others for not making him a priority, the solution to all his issues was prioritizing himself.
The whole week made him elevated. His mood was good enough he started thinking of ridiculous things. Like being strong enough to call Jasper when he knew it was the middle of the night in London, when he knew if one thing went wrong, all his progress would be lost. At the same time, he wanted to reach out to one of his friends and Jasper was the one he usually talked to in the middle of the night.
