The car fell down the cliff hitting the water before Milo could comprehend what was happening. He couldn’t recall the fall but the liquid substance was surely there. It surrounded him but didn’t make him helpless. He still could swim and go against the flow. As he got above the water surface, he felt pressure pushing him down. He choked, not being able to breathe properly. He could see the almost mannequin-like face before he lost consciousness.


Milo woke up suddenly, gasping for breath. He was shaking and the new environment he didn’t immediately recognize didn’t help to calm him down. He got up on trembling limbs and opened the door before moving towards the light and noises. He didn’t hear what they were saying but he’d recognize Liam’s voice anywhere. The redhead gasped and the shout died on his lips.


“Moo, did you have a nightmare?” Liam hugged him gently and lulled him from side to side.
