Lou rolled his eyes. “Plethora. Extreme excess, profusion, abundance. Shall I continue? I may be just a street cop, but I ameducated, despite your feelings about police officers.”

“I was questioning what you thought of the area,” Rory replied, looking vaguely nonplussed.

“It will work.”

“Okay,” Gideon said. “Pros and cons for both ideas?”

“If we go with the gallery idea, I suggest we set it up either in the Silver Triangle or the Art District on Santa Fe,” Rory replied. “I don’t think anyone with a working brain would think they could compete with the established galleries in Cherry Creek.”

“I agree,” Lou said. “If it were me, I’d go for Santa Fe and leasing, if possible, rather than buying. As a new gallery owner, I’d want to see if I’d picked the right spot.”

“You prefer the gallery idea to pretending to be a wealthy collector?” Gideon asked.
