“As I told Ms. Williams, hungry guests are not happy ones and we do want to sell some of the art, for the sake of appearances.”
“That would be a good idea.”

“Caterer taken care of, pictures hung. Is there anything else we have to do?” Rory asked later that afternoon.
“Not that I can think of,” Lou responded. “If there is, it’s too late now.”
“Good. Then let’s go eat.”
Lou shook his head in amusement. “You’re starving, I take it.”
“On the verge of collapsing from hunger, especially after visiting the caterer.”
“Okay. Any preferences on where?”
“Nope. As long as it has food, I’m good.”
“Great. There’s a Mickey D’s a few blocks from here.” Lou grinned when Rory shot him a look of disgust. “I know a good burger and beer place, but it’s halfway across town.”
“I think I’ll live until we get there, if I drive fast.”
