Chapter 26

“I don’t think I ever really believed I would find anyone like you,” he said. “I think I was in love with you that first night we spent together. But I never dared to think that you would be in love with me as much as I was in love with you. I figured we would just spend a few days together, I would go home, and you would forget about me. “Maybe we did,” said Dominic. “Can you tell what I’m thinking right now?”

“Yeah, right away. How fast do you think we can get back to the apartment trying to run in these stupid waders?”
