From Behind that Locked Door

Cillian took to going on solo walks around the ship. It was big and there were a lot of fairly narrow hallways. He quietly mapped the whole thing in his mind, taking special note of the escape pods. Most of them were only big enough for one person. He, Jack, and Henri could all fit into one of the larger ships, though, should they ever need it.


He got to know the humans of the ship. A significant portion were scientists, specializing in everything from geology to chemistry to astronomy. They were hand-selected by Angel to go on this mission, and they all seemed incredibly excited. Though Cillian didn’t have much in common with them, he tried to learn their names at the very least. Their next-door neighbors were the Davidsons, a straight married couple who couldn’t have children. They found Henri particularly adorable and even requested some of her artwork to put in their apartment. Henri obliged, of course.
