Chapter 34

Though Uncle Martin tried pressuring Will into taking a nap, Will ignored any instruction that would take him away from Alec. He insisted on helping when Alec took the cleanup away from Rowan after lunch, which ended up turning into an hour-long affair filled with stories of growing up on the estate. Alec quickly learned that Will had always been the wild younger child, while Uncle Martin was the dependable one. Unsurprising, really, though when the others joined them in the living room afterward and Graham began chiming in his contribution to some of the more outrageous stories, Rowan seemed genuinely shocked that his father had been anything like Will at all.
