“Let’s go back to the house, and I’ll tell you everything over some hot coffee.” Will grinned, though the mirth didn’t go all the way to his eyes. “It looks like I’ve lost my tolerance for Montana weather. I can’t feel my feet anymore.”

It was an excuse, and they all knew it. Alec couldn’t relax until Uncle Martin rolled his eyes and muttered, “Such a drama queen.” Louder, he added, “Look around ten more minutes to make sure we’re not missing anything, then we’ll head back. Graham deserves that.”

“He does.” Will shot him a wink. “All right. I think my feet can make it ten more minutes.”
