Chapter 98

“Does it matter what I thought?”

“It does to me.” Rowan rolled onto his side and braved resting his palm on Alec’s stomach. “I need to know if I’m just your familiar, or if I get to add boyfriend to my job title.”

Though Alec’s breath caught, the vein at the base of his neck started throbbing faster. “Do you want the added title?” he said softly. “I thought you’d see what you were missing at the club last night.”

“I did.” He slid his hand to cup Alec’s waist and draw him nearer. “I realized I was missing you.”

“You were holding Zander’s hand,” Alec whispered.
