Alec&rsquo;s eyes. Wide with fear. It was rolling off her in waves.


She did her best to hide it though, putting on a bright smile that even managed to relax her shoulders. &ldquo;Alec! When did you get back?&rdquo;


&ldquo;We just got in.&rdquo; He strode forward and bundled her into a tight hug. &ldquo;We came straight here.&rdquo;


&ldquo;We?&rdquo; Her gaze slid up to Rowan hovering behind him.
