Eric pointed the truck down the driveway, and when he reached the highway, he turned right, and a few minutes later he left the highway and pulled into the tract of land that he and Rusty had purchased from Carlton.
“It looks like someone is here,” Carlton said.
“Yeah. My crew gathered a lot of cuttings today, and they’re taking care of them.”
Eric parked the truck in front of a long greenhouse, and they exited the truck and walked over to the structure.
“This is a fairly basic greenhouse, isn’t it?” Carlton said.
“Yeah. It’s just a series of curved pipes connected by diagonal pipes and covered with heavy clear plastic.”
“How sturdy is it? I’m thinking of the occasional heavy winds we get during storms.”
“It’s sturdy enough to have made it through the severe weather we had last week,” Eric said. “The pipe framework is anchored in concrete. If some of the plastic gets damaged by wind, it can easily be replaced.”
