“Nathan, you don’t have to think of it as Jim,” Sasha tried to reason with him, his voice a much more sensible whisper. “You’re not feeding from him. You’re feeding fromthem. You’re feeding off of how they love each other, how they connect. What’s wrong about that?”
Did Sasha even listen to his arguments before he spoke them? It was Nathan’s brother and his practically sister-in-law, that’s what was wrong about that!
“Come on,” Sasha said in a soothing voice, leading Nathan by the arm that much closer to the door.
Attoinette moved away, allowing Nathan to take her place. Nathan really should have been more capable of controlling his limbs, but he couldn’t seem to stop Sasha from taking his hand and placing it flat on the door.
