A Dreadful Feeling

[Present]

Carrying Samuel on his back, Hertwig walked him to the car they had rented, putting him inside in the passenger's seat and tying the seat belt tightly around him. The rest also got inside the car to leave for the time being.

They drove back to the hotel and put Samuel on the bed, tucking him under the sheets.

"Phew!" Hertwig exclaimed under his breath. "We don't have enough time, so I say, someone stays here to look after Samuel, the rest goes back to the lab, retrieves evidence against Sebastian, and yeah… The body too, somehow."

"I," Nancy muttered. "I'll stay here with him."

"Yeah?" Marco asked, "That works great. We can go back and carry out the rest of the investigation."

"But wouldn't it be dangerous?" Nancy raised a concern. "More people are better, don't you think so?"

"The three of us go, stick together, and come back as soon as everything is done," Amy suggested.

"My plans differ," Hertwig muttered.
