Bryan

-Bryan-

This whole situaction either filled me with terror or curisostity. There were so many questions overflowing my mind I couldn't focus on one. Though the biggest question I have was standing right in front of me.

Greyson, I wanted to know more about him, or maybe more about his eyes. I knew Jass felt the same, awe but an overwhelming feeling of…what I would call authority. It was like when a child gets scolded they feel like the adult is in higher authority.

I would never be able to fully explain how I knew this about Jass, it was like we were bound by our thoughts and feelings.

Any way I needed to assess the situation, first it was the issue at school, then the thing in the woods now this situation. Something was up.

Sister walked over to Greyson, her strides confident as ever. She singled us to stand. I was the first one to get up from my mattress, it was uncomfortable anyway.

As Jass standed Sister Avaline spoke "Jassmine, Bryan, me and this young man have some things we need to tell you. Is that right Greyson?" He nodded.

Ok things are definitely getting weird.

"First how about we make room, just in chase" It was Greyson who spoke and Sister nodded. Greyson walked over to us and I couldn't help but wonder what his eye color is without light on them. He didn't walk through us but walked close to me with his head down. I glanced at him, but he stopped , he stopped right next to me for only a second whispering something almost too low for me to hear.

"My eyes are silver, with light on them or not, stop thinking about it, I can see it on your face. Plus you're staring."

Then he walked to the mattresses we abandoned, While I was dumbfounded it took all my mental strength just to not make my mouth drop. No one knew what I was thinking.

No one, until him.

It never happened before, I was the quiet kid, the planner. The poker faced operator, the person nobody could read, until he came along.

Maybe I slipped up? Was I really staring at him that much that he noticed?

It's okay, everything is okay. He was just lucky. It would never happen again.

Would it?

A pain in my arm shot me back to reality, looking over to my side seeing Jass giving me a look. It's the look that said 'What the hell was that', all I could do was shrug and tilted my head back to where Greyson was now lifting the mattress onto each other.

Trying to stay calm and assess the situation might be a problem now, so I was gonna have to change a few things.

The room was filled with tensen, not good for confrontation but maybe negotiation. Sister Avaline was like family, but me and Jass had to figure out what was happening here.

Tonight.

-Greyson-

As I was stacking the mattresses I was thinking, why did all of this feel…normal. I know nothing about this, nothing about me is the standard definition of 'normal' but this situation feels normal.

Seeing people awaken, being there with them, understanding them feels like my normal. I was silent for the most part when I did things, but I'm always busy in my thoughts.

They weren't shifters that was for sure, they were something that held magic in themselves. So they were either Fea, Witches, or Vampires. I crossed off the vampire due to lack of and non-natural eye color when they woke up. That leaves witches or fea, I didn't know that much about any unnatural beside shifters so i couldn't tell if they were fea or witches.

Fea had the most overall power currently, like a government due to them looking so much like humans. Then vampires, snd shifters and witches were on a stand point.

I was down with the mattresses so I called snow over my shoulder, "Might as well start them with a simple explanation." I was still looking at my work when she hummed in response.

She took a breath then was ready, or at least felt like she was ready. "Jassmine, Bryan I know this will sound unbelievable….but you're not who you think you are. You're Unnatural."

The girl, Jasmine spoke first "Unnatural how?" typing the word how. Turning around to hear better, "Unnatural as in non-human, other words supernatural" answering her question for her. Walking through them this time to get to Snow, innorging the looks of disbelief from them and standing beside snow.

There were things I wanted to do, so I was deciding to take the lead for a well, "Byran?"

He glanced at me then to Jassmine, a silent conversation lasting seconds then he responded "Yes." I wondered what they were speaking about but I had a rough draft of it.

"You were scared, why? It's not like nobody can't read you, you try too hard to hide it, simple" I knew it was kind of mean but it would be better if they fully awaken now than in public, I heard being confronted with unfamiliar claims and emotions can speed up the process.

Or at least I hope it will.

He looked dumbfounded agein , his sister looked mad as hell but trying to keep her cool. Then something unexpected happened, I felt pain. Not from them nobody did anything. Snow gashed and looked like she was gonna faint pointing to my leg. Looking down at it I was bitten, not by something simple like a spider, it was a snake. A two foot long scarlet red snake, I wasn't scared somehow. It wasn't deadly to me anyway, High metabolism helps with venom.

I simply lifted my leg and hoped this snake had a gagging reflex when I grabbed its throat.

Lucky it did, holding it in my hand I can see it better, it was something else.

It was familiar.

Then it all faded to black.
