Familiar.

Yue Ling drove to the hospital. Wgem she reached, she wore black sunglasses as she walked in.

When we covered our eyes, people couldn't really know what we were thinking. We also limited the ability to form a connection with people we didn't want to. And to the least people,it covered the lack of confidence.

Yue Ling was going to be called Yi Yue Ling at work but nobody would know she's a member of the Yi family unless she told them.

The branch of Yi Family Hospital Yue Ling was going to work at was special. It was the part where they treated the prominent people in terms of money, political status and military status.

Not everyone could afford the prices paid here and you needed special recommendation letters too.

Yue Ling was brought to work at this branch not because they treated her specially but her qualifications were too high as well.

The other branches had so many doctors already but they were all put in different departments basing on their qualifications.

The higher the qualifications, the higher the working standards.

Employees received benefits too like accommodation in terms of an apartment,a high salary and bonuses like scholarships for your family members and so many more.

It was considered a bane to have a job here.

When Yue Ling arrived, she found someone Yiren had sent to help her and he gave her a working ID.

She was given an office and would start working the same day.

The door knocked so she said,"come in." Her first patient was coming in and it was Lehan.

Before you received a patient, you were given a file that had the information you needed to know about the illness they had. Also basic history about their health status.

This prepared her already.

"Good morning," she greeted.

"Good morning, doc" Lehan replied playfully. He loved meeting Yue Ling and now they could be considered familiar with each other.

"Good morning, Dr. Yi," Han Li greeted too. Obviously wherever Lehan was,so was he. He also knew Yue Ling changed her name because he was the one who set up the appointment with a doctor for Lehan.

Yue Ling acknowledged their greetings as she inwardly clapped Han Li for being so adaptive.

"Have a seat," she said as she pointed at the seat.

Lehan sat down while Han Li stood saying he preferred it better.

Lehan had come for a checkup because he wasn't feeling well.

It wasn't bipolar because then he would have consulted his psychiatrist but a certain different condition.

Mostly muscle pain and he hadn't been practicing or working out for the past few days.

"Is there any different medicine you have recently began?" Yue Ling asked.

Muscle pain could be because of less exercise but that didn't seem to be the case here.

"No,I haven't tried anything new," Lehan replied.

"Okay, can I check the heartbeat or you'll be more comfortable with a male nurse?" Yue Ling asked.

"It's fine if you do it," Lehan replied. He smiled at her.

Yue Ling just did her job and ignored him. His smiles, she noticed seemed to be hiding something. It's like someone who smiled while they felt pain.

He was either convincing her or himself that everything was going to be okay.

"Take this prescription to the pharmacy," Yue Ling said as she handed the paper to Han Li.

"Thank you doctor," Lehan said.

"Thank you too, Doctor Yi," Han Li said too.

Yue Ling just nodded her head. The two didn't really need to thank her because she hadn't really done anything.

As they left, she found herself thinking.

"Yue Ling, follow them." She finally told herself as she left the office.

[I have an emergency,I'm leaving work, can you cover up?] she texted Yiren. She hoped he saw the message immediately so she could leave. It was so improper if she left without notice on her first day.

[I will help,do you need my help with the emergency too] he asked.

[No, need. Thank you so much] Yue Ling typed. She appreciated how much her family supported her without reason.

[My pleasure] he replied.

The texting didn't take too long so Yue Ling saw Lehan and Han Li's car leave.

She also entered her car and started following them.

Yue Ling kept thinking of the reason she had to follow them. Lehan and Han Li were hiding something.

Lehan's nails had blue color on them.

A very silly reason but it prove her suspicion.

A year ago,in the lab where she worked, they manufactured a certain drug and close to it's official release date to the public, the data was stolen.

Everything about the drug, the formula and the available samples. That incident brought about so much confusion but nobody got the thief.

She just suspected that it was the same drug Lehan used because it was meant to treat neurological disorders. Also because it left blue color on the surface it came into contact with.

"Have you contacted him?" Lehan asked Han Li.

The expression on his face showed extreme displeasure and anger.

The guy who sold them the drug was suddenly missing once again. The medicine was effective but it's side effects were also high. Was the man messing with them?

"I haven't boss,I'm still looking for him," Han Li said.

He regretted buying the drugs from this guy and not through proper means. The problem was, this guy, Fang had the best medicines. The ones that weren't yet on market.

Fang had drugs to treat each and every illness great researchers hadn't yet found. He had so many buyers too.

Another thing about him was he was not easy to locate. Since the medicines he sold were stolen and had not yet been through all legal processes,he was always in hiding.

Now, how were they going to trust such a person. It was like gambling on one's life. This medicine now didn't really help much and brought more problems.

[Meet me at the delivery spot] Han Li received a message on his phone.

Fang had finally texted him.

The delivery spot was where they met last time to get the medicine.

Han Li informed Lehan as he observed his boss for any stop signs.

Lehan wasn't in a good mood so it wasn't wise to let him be there when they met Fang.

He'd probably beat the young man.

When they arrived the spot,he parked the car and they waited for Fang.

Immediately after they parked, a young man in a black coat and glasses knocked on the car window.

Yue Ling also watched from a far as she parked too.
