My daughter.

Long Jao Ying went to meet the nurse before she left the Mental institution.

Nurse An was already waiting for her when she reached there. She told her that Lao San was getting better and they could even consider letting her leave the institution.

She could also see that Lao San's condition had gotten better because she no longer feared to be around her or others. She could also show emotions like happiness and excitement. It showed that she had also pulled out from her depression.

She couldn't help but remember some old memories.

A five year old Jao Ying was wandering about on the roads.

Her mother had brought her out for an outing at a new park that had been opened. She felt so happy because her parents were always busy to go places with her and now this was an opportunity.

Deep down, she hoped her father was able to come with them too.

That day,the park had so many people around because it had just been opened.

She didn't realize how she lost hold of her mother's hand as they walked through the crowd.

Jao Ying became agitated and started looking around all directions but she couldn't see anything.

She was too short while the people surrounding her were tall and huge in her eyes.

The young girl felt lost and abandoned. This must have happened because her mother was using her phone again and forgot about her.

As time went by,it was no longer day time but night was arriving.

Jao Ying had sat at the entrance all that time but she didn't see her mother or anybody she recognized.

"Mother, mother," she started calling as she sobbed.

My daughter,a female voice called.

The lady in front of her wasn't her mother but a "dirty " woman with torn clothes and unkempt hair. This look was well known. It was a mad woman.

Little Jao Ying immediately started crying and yelling. She was hoping for someone to show up and help her. Mad people were dangerous.

Her parents warned her to stay away from them because they could harm people, most of them stoned others. Another problem was that they were dirty, imagine all the germs they had on their bodies.

The little girl was frightened but couldn't run away because she didn't want her mother to pass by and not find her.

"Daughter, daughter," the lady said as she cried.

The two were confused when they looked at each other as they both cried.

Jao Ying was surprised because adults didn't cry. Her parents even often scolded her when she cried sometimes because they said it was silly.

To top it all off,the mad woman was the one who was crying. How can a heartless and evil people cry.

"Are you looking for your daughter?" she asked the lady after a long time.

The lady nodded her head.

"I am also looking for my mother," she spoke.

Lao San simply looked at her and watched her cry.

Jao Ying slept off from tiredness and when she woke up the next day,she was lying on a bed. The room looked shabby and the walls were cracked and stained. Paint had come off them and they looked old.

The room had few things like a table, cupboard and bed.

There was also a door.

Jao Ying was staring at all this in amazement because it was all new to her eyes.

She would have never imagined that anybody could live in such a place if today never happened.

Before she could scream or cry. She saw the crazy lady coming into the room with a bowl.

Eat,my daughter, Lao San said. She kept calling her a certain name she couldn't remember.

Jao Ying ate the food she was given as she continued praying for her parents to find her.

As days went by,they never came.

Jao Ying had started schooling at a nearby school and would go back to that same park everyday.

She and Lao San had developed a bond and they got along well. Lao San still called her daughter.

Jao Ying's best days were with her. She was a good mother and treated her with so much attention and love.

It was not until one day, after 6 months , Jao Ying's parents knocked at their door.

Her mother looked shocked and

displeased along with her father. They also showed another feeling she knew later in life, disgust. They were disgusted by her looks.

Lao San couldn't afford much so she only bathed twice a day, from school and back.

Her clothes were also a little bit torn and old. Jao Ying didn't mind because she had seen Lao San attempt to see them with a needle a couple of times. She just appreciated what was done for her.

Jao Ying's parents took her by force when she refused to leave.

She didn't want to leave Lao San without informing her but her parents refused to listen. They just continued forcing her.

"My daughter,my daughter," Lao San started screaming.

At that same time, Jao Ying was being forced into the car.

She turned behind and looked through the windows, trying to stop Lao San.

The lady didn't get her warning or perhaps she was too carried away so she continued chasing the car.

That was when the worst happened. Something forever engraved in Jao Ying's mind ever since that day.

A car hit Lao San and she was involved in a fatal accident.

She was taken to the hospital by Jao Ying's parents who were either genuinely concerned or maybe putting up a show because they were guilty. Everybody was pointing fingers at them.

After being treated, Lao San didn't recover. She remained the same or maybe worse.

That was how she ended up at a mental institution.

Han Li gave the man a paper bag that had the bottle of medicine after lowering the windows.

"Do you know what you have done?" he asked.

"Bosses,I'm really sorry for this,I can't be totally blamed though, the proper prescription matters too and I'm not a doctor," the man defended himself.

He was right because all his customers had already been warned about how things could go wrong.

He didn't even have to explain himself but he had too. These two were his bosses.

Han Li looked at Lehan for help but he just continued glaring.

"You have punishment when you get back at the training centre," he said.

"What," the man responded .

He didn't know that his seniors already knew his identity. He was also receiving punishment.

"Let's go," Lehan said.

As usual, Han Li followed and drove away.

Yue Ling who had been silently watching got out of the car and walked up to the man fastly but without a sound.

She then forcefully turned him over.
