Forgot About Him

Loraine

“What the hell is going on here!”

Startled, I throw myself against the wall of the hallway, expecting a storm to blow me away at any moment. When I turn around I see no one but Kaylah, the thorn in my side. I sigh with relief, this drama queen surely has something on her sleeve.

Dordrich dropped me off in the parking lot a few minutes ago. Reluctantly I tore myself away from him, his kisses are so addictive. When I finally got out of the car, I walked straight into the elevator. I could hear him chuckle at my back, but didn’t turn around to see. And as I walk to my office, I am confronted with this show from Kaylah.

She stares at me open-mouthed.

“Loraine, since when do you wear such short skirts to work? This is unusual. Something is going on here.” Her drama has now reached the junior staff’s ears and I can see a few peeking through the glass of their room. I roll my eyes and keep walking.
