Montero's POV

"I can't say I missed you. You have a habit of showing up in places where you are not invited." I replied annoyed.

"Yes well, I kinda miss you from time to time. You remind me of my husband, you know, your brother, the one you killed." She smiled, Eawa grasped.

Eawa was at the end of the forest and when she grasped, she stumbled back. And another push would result in her falling into the river. Maria's smile was holding nothing but mockery, and it was getting on my nerves.

"Another habit I despise. At this rate, you'll end up like just your husband." I snarled.

"Careful D, you treading on thin ice here. Don't test my patience, I might actually fall for it." She tilted her head, biting her lower lip.

"What happened to you, Maria?" I asked sympathetically.
